Have always had such a great experience here! Service is some of the friendliest I have had, and the food is superb! Oysters speak for themselves, and the drinks are well crafted. I came for happy hour, and it's such a great deal! Come for the half off bottles on Wednesdays from 3 to 6. P.S. forgive some of the food photos as some appetizers were half eaten.

The restaurant is inside a hotel and everything is designed with old school cool in mind. Even the bathrooms have old pictures. I had the Etta James and I recommend that. The chicken was tasty and everything on the dish went together. Portion size was good and everything was seasoned well.

The service was impeccable. They made my 21st birthday dinner a night to remember. The little details like putting the napkin down on our laps matter to this establishment. The food was outstanding and the cocktails were the best I had during my weekend visiting Nashville. Overall the quality of the food compared to the price was extremely generous. I will be visiting this place again.

We had an amazing dinner! Our server Myka was so sweet and kind, as was everyone who helped us out tonight. She also had the cutest nails! We both enjoyed our drinks, meals and dessert! A bit pricier, but I think it’s totally worth it! Classy and sophisticated. We’ll definitely be back!

Decorated strait out of a 70s inspired disco lounge room. Food was fresh, view on the patio was great, and the service was on point. A bit pricey but isn't everything in Nashville.

Brunch at Ellington’s – Nashville’s Best-Kept Secret (But Not for Long) Tucked into the heart of downtown Nashville, Ellington’s is a hidden rooftop gem that just launched its brunch service — and it’s already one of the best brunches in town. With sweeping skyline views and a vibe that’s effortlessly elegant yet totally relaxed, this spot feels like your secret local escape in the middle of the city. We enjoyed the Brunch Feast, which truly lives up to its name. From buttery housemade biscuits and smoked salmon to hot chicken sliders and a perfectly cooked steak with chimichurri, every course was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes were top-tier comfort food, and the French toast was fluffy and rich without being overly sweet. But the real sleeper hit? The smoked tomato jam. Tucked quietly among the accompaniments, this spread stole the show — smoky, tangy, and wildly addictive. Don’t overlook it! Our experience was made even better thanks to our incredible waiter, Christopher Cruise, whose warm, attentive service made us feel right at home. And hats off to Chef Samual Greer, whose thoughtful and flavorful menu proves this brunch is crafted with real care and culinary talent. We finished with a charming two-tier tray of sweets — delicate macarons, mini cheesecakes, chocolate tarts, and lemon-poppyseed scones — paired with a refreshing spritz. It felt like a little European afternoon tucked into Music City. Friendly staff, fresh ingredients, and a stunning rooftop setting just steps from Printer’s Alley — Ellington’s is a brunch experience you don’t want to miss. Go now, while it’s still a secret!

A truly great experience. This is my newest favorite in the Printer's Alley area. We sat at the bar. The cauliflower appetizer was a great shareable starter. Scallops cooked to perfection. Salmon was at least equally good, with a nice, crisp exterior, and a tender medium rare to medium center. We ended with the banana pudding, which was delicious and plenty for 2 people to share. Will definitely be back! Highly recommended.

My husband and I rarely get to experience restaurants like this due to the cost associated. We happened to win a voucher that helped so we took advantage of this and the experience was awesome I ordered the steak and my husband ordered chicken. He says his was great. I think it was the best steak I've ever had and the fries were addictive! Service was friendly and super sweet. Would go back if I have the chance.
